EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:Support the import/export department
with customs and transportation mattersPerform basic order control
duties including processing, printing, sorting and tracking
customer ordersPrepare international export shipping documents
including commercial invoices, trade compliance forms, free trade,
and certificates of origin ensuring accuracy, neatness, and
conformance to policies and procedures; distribute to appropriate
internal customers and pull samples of those documents when
requested during compliance auditsTroubleshoot any transactional
issues that may ariseCommunicate with internal and external
customersKnowledge of the shipping process, which includes
cross-training to cover critical roles within the Traffic
areaVerify commercial invoicing coincides with incotermsRetain
detailed and accurate documentation for domestic and international
shippingFollow up with freight forwarders to obtain proof of export
to meet document retention requirementsImport/export declaration
filing (APAC/EMEA only)Organize transportation; contact with
carriers/brokersResolve transport complaintsYOU HAVE:High school
diploma or GEDAssociate degree preferred1-2 years of experience
preferred in shipping, import/exportExcellent written and verbal
skillsMust be tactful, considerate and courteous to all internal
and external customersAbility to achieve and deliver a high level
of customer satisfactionExcellent PC skills (Word, Excel, creating
workbooks, etc.).A dynamic global reach with diverse operations
